Category A universities require 24 points from 6 DSE subjects (with a minimum of 4 points in English).
Category B universities require 20 points from 6 DSE subjects (with a minimum of 3 points in English).
The 6 subjects do not necessarily need to include Chinese. If Chinese is failed, it can be substituted with the study of another foreign language.
English proficiency can be demonstrated through TOEFL, IELTS, Duolingo English Test, or by taking the EAP internal test. (Home versions of TOEFL and IELTS are not accepted.)
If students’ English proficiency reaches level 4 or above, the requirement of providing TOEFL, IELTS, Duolingo, or EAP test scores can be waived and students only need to provide their transcripts.
